Trainer Development Conference (1 day)
The Trainer Development Conference is open to all registered Scouters and may also be of interest to those youth members who work as staff members at Camp Freeland Leslie or Thunderbird Junior Leader Training. The Trainer Development Conference (TDC) is designed to acquaint adult leaders with the basic elements of training Scout leaders and the key skills required to do so. It provides both the theory and practical information needed to staff Scouting's numerous training courses.

The course should be of particular interest to Cub Scout leaders who register as Pack Trainers but will benefit all leaders who find themselves teaching Scouts or Scouters, including commissioners, Scoutmasters, Venturing leaders, and members of district and/or council training staffs.

While specific invitations are generally sent, all leaders who are interested in improving their teaching and presentation skills are welcome to attend.
