Training Awards
For awards, print the appropriate file and maintain your
records; once you have completed the requirements, assure
that the proper authority, i.e., Committee Chair, reviews,
approves and signs the award, then forward the completed
record to the District Training Chair for final approval.
A convenient means to get the record to the DTC is to take
it to Roundtable.
Incomplete award forms cannot be processed by the Training
Committee; please assure that all necessary signatures and
dates are provided. Proof of training may be required -
such proof, if needed, can normally be provided using
training certification cards, copies of which can be
attached to the record. Please note that tenure cannot be
concurrent, i.e., you cannot use the same tenure for both
a Cubmaster and Cub Scouter award.
Awards are normally presented to the recipient at the next
Roundtable after the award processing has been completed.
While other arrangements can be made, this affords the
recipient to recieve their award in front of their peers.
